St Jerome Emiliani Orphanage UPDATE February 2008Why the name change?
The Augustinian Recollect Sisters whom we work with in sponsoring our two children Roberto & Ross Ann are no longer involved in the San Rafael School. Our promise to support the education of our two scholars continues for the term of their school years until they start College (University). But our relationship with San Rafael School in Tondo will have to cease as we do not have a contact within the school. We will continue to raise funds to support the Sisters in their ministry to orphaned children from the poor squatter area of Tondo, which is Manila's rubbish dump. The orphanage operated by the Sisters is called San Rita Orphanage, Home for Children.
